Michael Riskin

Dr. Riskin, Executive Director, licensed since 1976, and an ABS board certified sex therapist / clinical supervisor, established the Center at its' current location in 1989 with his wife Anita Banker. Michael specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of sexual dysfunction and relationship conflicts for individuals and couples. He is the author of Stop in The Name of Love: a Clinical Guide to the Control of Premature Ejaculation and co authored with Anita Simultaneous Orgasm and other Joys of Sexual Intimacy. Since 1980, Dr. Riskin has been on the graduate level faculty of several Southern California universities and presented papers at a diverse roster of professional and academic workshops and conferences.

Alicia has been an integral part of the therapy team at Riskin-Banker since 1984. She has a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, and serves as Anita's co director of the Surrogate Partner Therapy Program. Alicia has helped create and develop the specific programs and techniques that so successfully treat clients' sexual and social dysfunctions.
